The annual changes to Employment tribunal compensation are due to come into force next month.
The current week’s pay is capped at £525, but this will increase to £538 for all dismissals on or after 6th April 2020. Therefore, if you are making statutory redundancy calculations the new week’s pay will be £538 as of 6th April 2020.
The compensatory award in an unfair dismissal claim is currently capped at £86,444 and this will increase to £88,519 for dismissals on or after 6th April 2020.
