James has responsibility for the Firm’s IT systems where he oversees the Firm’s continuing programme of system-wide upgrades and the implementation of new processes.

He has been working in the IT industry for over 35 years, with more that 25 of these working in the legal IT and professional software industry for both suppliers and clients. Therefore, has seen, developed, and helped implement many of the changes that have occurred. From the introduction of the first PCs for word processing to the growth of the internet, cloud-based systems, mobile technology, and remote working.

He has an extensive knowledge of all aspects of IT and is always looking at ways to improve and update the systems to best serve our staff and thus allow us to offer the best levels of service to our clients.

He joined Colman Coyle in 2004.
