Ignacio Morillas from Colman Coyle was delighted to attend the International Arbitration conference in Havana, Cuba on Thursday 24th August 2017. The conference was organised by the International Chamber of Commerce. ICC
The conference was very well attended with over 150 delegates from different European and Latin American jurisdictions and with 5 panels of Spanish speakers talking throughout the conference.
The conference was well organised and brought important and vital updates with the implementation of the new arbitration regulations which came into place on Wednesday 1st March 2017.
There is a clear positive commitment between the International Chamber Arbitration Community to support and implement these new procedures that no doubt will benefit not only our clients’ cases but the International Arbitration process as a whole.

La Conferencia se celebro en el Hotel Nacional el jueves 24 de agosto de 2017. Contó con más de 150 compañeros de diferentes jurisdicciones europeas y latinoamericanas y con 5 paneles de hispanohablantes que trataron diferentes temas de arbitraje Internacional durante la conferencia.
La conferencia fue un éxito de organización y contenido, tratándose las actualizaciones e implementación del nuevo reglamento de arbitraje que entró en vigor el miércoles 1 de marzo de 2017.
Existe un claro compromiso entre la Comunidad Arbitral Internacional de la CCI para apoyar e implementar nuevos procedimientos que sin duda beneficiarán no sólo a nuestros clientes, sino al proceso Arbitral Internacional en su conjunto.
