Michael Large attends National Audit Office representing Guardians of the Arches

26th February 2019

Colman Coyle has been acting for and working with Guardians of the Arches, a national collective of commercial tenants based in railway property, since November 2018.

On 4 February 2019, Network Rail sold its commercial property portfolio for £1.46 billion. The portfolio is mainly railway arches. Following the sale, the National Audit Office (NAO) has started a study into whether the government achieved value for money. As part of the study, the NAO has invited stakeholders to provide evidence, including the Guardians. A delegation from the Guardians, including Michael Large of Colman Coyle, met the NAO team on 25 February 2019 to discuss the members’ concerns.

The NAO welcomes evidence directly from affected parties here.

The Guardians’ website with further information can be found here.
