Hema Anand Wins Best Woman Solicitor in Property Award

Hema Anand has won the prestigious Association of Women Solicitors (AWS) ‘Best Woman Solicitor in a Property Practice' Award and received her award at the Annual AWS Awards ceremony.

The judging panel, commended Hema for her client care and professionalism, Frances Robinson, a member of the panel commented,

‘This lady's application shone through because of her professionalism and business development. It was clear that she takes client care very seriously and this was reflected in the letters of support which were submitted. This nominee has taken a niche area of work and made it her own.'

The AWS Awards recognise women who are the role models for future women solicitors. The AWS in a national network of 18,000 women solicitors which strives to promote the potential and success of each women solicitor at every stage of her career.

Hema will now be put forward for the Law Society Legal Business Woman of the Year Award at the Legal Excellence Awards in October 2011.
