Georgina Kyriacou

Georgina was responsible for developing the Insolvency, Business Recovery & Restructuring, Employment and Company Commercial Departments, where she leads an experienced team of lawyers.

Georgina has a wealth of experience in Employment matters. However she specialises in dismissing high-level executives and agreeing terms. She is also a TUPE specialist having advised major construction firms recently.

Georgina’s experience in company/commercial law is invaluable when advising clients on both the sale and purchase of businesses, business start ups and business structures, considering and drafting Articles of Association, Shareholders Agreements and Partnership Agreements.

Georgina advises clients ranging from individuals to companies on all aspects of insolvency. She has worked closely with insolvency practitioners, barristers and also has considerable experience in advising liquidators, administrators, receivers, trustees and supervisors in a wide range of matters. She also deals with company court matters such as directors’ disqualification actions, Minority shareholder actions and Petitions on the just and equitable basis.

Georgina joined Colman Coyle as a Trainee Solicitor in February1989. She has been a Partner since 1992.
