We live in an age where the rights of employees and the duties of employers continue to become more and more complex, often reflecting social trends and legislation from the EU.

Increasing awareness by employees of those rights has resulted in a significant rise in claims by employees against their employers.

Our employment team is geared towards providing employers with comprehensive and practical legal advice in response to the broader and more sophisticated claims employees are making. In addition our team advises employees of their individual rights and how best to take advantage of these.

The Department is experienced in all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment related work ranging from nationwide redundancy schemes on behalf of listed plcs to acting, for example, on behalf of an individual employee claiming compensation for sexual harassment.
